Manchester, July 20 – Benjamin Šeško is reportedly eager to join Manchester United this summer, despite the club’s absence from European competitions next season. The 21-year-old RB Leipzig striker is seen as one of United’s top targets as they push to strengthen their attacking options.
According to GiveMeSport, Šeško has made it clear he is open to making the switch to Old Trafford, drawn by the project under Erik ten Hag and the prestige of the club, rather than continental football alone.
Manchester United are still assessing all their options in the No.9 position. Alongside Šeško, Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) are also on the club’s radar as potential alternatives.
Šeško scored 18 goals in all competitions last season for Leipzig and is viewed as a long-term solution in United’s forward line. His willingness to join the Red Devils could accelerate negotiations in the coming weeks.
No official bid has been submitted yet, but the club is expected to move soon as they aim to finalise their striker signing early in the window.
